Composition in earthy, blue, ochre, red and white tones. Rough texture with scraped. Bust portrait a man against dark background, occupying almost the entire area of the composition. The pictured is 3/4 facing right, has rounded face, dark hair mingling with the background, eyebrows and eyes only suggested, right ear visible, nose slightly drooping , closed thin lips, protruding chin and short neck. He wears a white shirt, buttoned with a red tie. The shoulders are cut by the side edges of the support. The whole composition is poorly defined, and the canvas had been shaved by the artist. Light falling from the right side of the face portrayed.
