Title
Carajá
Description
Composition in tones rose, red, black, gray, white and earthy. Thick texture. India Figure Carajá front kneeling against a light background, occupying the center of the composition. The head is represented by black hair, voluminous, split in half, at the time of what would be the forehead, with well-defined outline. There is no representation of facial features. In place of the face, neck and chest, we see the stereotypical shape of an inverted heart. The face is formed by the tip of the heart, suggesting that lengthens the neck. Its extension to the side so the shoulders and continuity of contour line closes a circle suggesting two breasts like that leave the arms that fall along the body, whose hands rest on her thighs, holding what would be a fish. Deformed belly bulging and rounded. The contour of the thighs and knees resemble the top half of a heart.
