Title
Lord Jesus of the Cane
Description
Composition in blue tones, red, yellow, green, ochre and white. Smooth texture. Support divided into five parts: at the bottom, rectangle horizontally, taking up the entire width of the composition with two archangels kneeling, in profile, facing each other, and in the center between them, a sort of wooden coffin. In the center, three rectangles vertically: the two side groups of old men wearing long beards and clothing, possibly apostles; the central figure of Christ, standing, front, arms down and hands clasped up to the belly. At the top of the support, crescent occupying the entire width of the composition, with two archangels profile knees, one facing the other, blowing trumpets. Between the two, dove with outstretched wings representing the Holy Spirit. The areas of the composition are separated by blanks with lines suggesting frames.
