Description
Composition in black and white. Lines defining contours and shading setting volume. In the center of the field of composition, half bodied man, naked, headless, against white background, in a position to hit with an ax. The figure is 3/4 toward the right, has well developed and ripped muscles, suggesting it to be taut. The neck is ripped in its front side, suggesting it to be vigorous. The arms handle the ax, which is raised to the right. The right arm cross the chest horizontally and the hand holds the end of the ax handle; the left arm is raised holding the upper half of ax handle, which blade is facing right, and is only outlined. At the upper right corner, a sketch represents the left hand holding the handle of an ax.
