Description
Composition in black and white. Lines defining contours and shading setting volume. Study two feet, occupying almost the entire area of the composition against a plain background. Feet suggest that the figure is kneeling on his back and diagonally from the left to the right and from front to back. They are slightly apart, seeing mainly the heels and soles. The toes are not visible because they are bent feet. A line at the height of heels, suggests the end of a garment that covers part of the on the right heel.
