Description
Composition in black and white. Predominance of quick strokes above outlines. Half-bust Quadros against sky background with stars and the horizon. The pictured 3/4 is facing left, has hair combed back, tuft on the left, broad forehead, just suggested on the left ear. He wears glasses with dark frames with clear lenses through which one sees hazel eyes turned to the left. Whiskers the length of the mouth, fleshy and closed lips, square chin. It seems to be wearing a suit and tie. In the background, the horizon and the top on the left corner, five-star suggesting that the Southern Cross.
