Description
Composition in black and white. Straight lines, parallel, shaded chiaroscuro. It depicts corral with cowboys, boys and oxen. In the foreground, Cowboys seated on three pieces of logs arranged in diagonal rather sharp, on the right to on the left, toward the bottom of the composition. Cowboys wear hats and are bare. On the left, Profile cowboy to the right, with his elbows on his thighs and a machete in each hand. The center back cowboy slightly turned to the left, with curved trunk and head bent over his chest. On the right cowboy with open arms raised above the head and legs apart. In the background, the center figure lying on her side with head on the left and on the right legs tucked. To the left, a little further back, figure in the supine position with legs apart and hands on his face. On the right, four oxen side by side, in perspective, facing left.
