Description
Composition in black and white. Straight lines, angular and parallel shading. In the foreground on the left representing the middle-man body of law, taking up more than half the height of the composition. Slightly behind and to the right, horse riding with old mounted. The animal is 3/4 facing left and has dashed the body, accentuating its volume. About it, old man with furrowed face and long beard, wearing a hat, boots and clothes has only suggested by chiaroscuro. Basically, parallel lines and straight lines represent sugarcane plantation.
