Description
Composition in black and white. Straight, parallel lines and shading. In the center of the composition, two black men holding knives. The on the right of the faces, legs apart, on the right arm raised with knife in hand and his on the left arm bent in front of him holding what appears to be a bundle of straw. The on the right figure is in profile to the left, on the right leg back, as if giving a wide pitch, on the right arm and on the left folded up with knife. Both wear white shirts open on one side and tied at the waist on the opposite side, rolled up white trousers above the ankles and are barefoot. Black stripes cut the geometrizando-composition. The bottom vertical lines suggest boards and horizontal lines represent sort of dais.
