Description
Composition in black and white. Contour lines, shaded areas and support drilled along the contours to serve as transport. Group of six figures within a barge occupying the entire area of the composition. The barge has an oval shape and spans the entire width of the support. From the left to the right we see: figure of a woman sitting with her on the right elbow on the railing of the boat and hand on chin and on the left arm stretched with hand holding the edge of the vessel; more to the right profile figure to the left with the head turned back, on the right hand on the shoulder of the woman who has just been described and arm bent on the right; the center, leaning forward figure on the side of the boat with your hands touching the water; the barge background man standing from the front, slightly off to the left with open arms and raised; on the right of center, also figure with arms raised above his head and the on the left foot resting on the edge of the barge; and on the right, girl standing in front with his on the right hand in his mouth and-loop tape to the head. All figures have defined facial features. In the lower half of the composition, sinuous lines suggest the ripple of water in which the vessel sails.
