Composition in black tones, ochre, gray, and red earthy. Smooth texture. Portrait of mid-body of Mary Capanema occupying almost the entire area of the composition against background in "degrade". The portrayed faces, has the square face, dark hair parted in the middle suggesting being stuck in a bun at the nape height. Broad forehead with tip-of-the widow center, thin eyebrows, slightly arched, almond-shaped eyes and dark, facing front, long nose, very delicate, thick lips, sealed, painted with bright red lipstick and large rounded chin. Has fallen arms along the body, wears dark long sleeve dress-neck "V" which is finished off by two thin stripes, one red and one white.
