Description
Composition in black, brown and red ochre tones. Contour lines, winding, with touches smoky red ochre. monumental and sculptural in character and bulky rounded shapes. Robust figure representation of naked angel, whose formal treatment reminiscent of the "putti". Occupying almost the entire area of support, Angel 3/4 on the left, with knees bent and back legs suggesting motion flight. Has gently suggested hair, round face with no facial features represented in addition to the outlined eyes. Arms stretched in front of the body, hands holding trumpet being blown. On the left wing represented, on the right wing suggested. In the upper on the left corner of the composition, bird outline. Background in brown tone with squares.
