Woman in Hammock
Description
Composition in blue, earthy, green and black tones. Smooth texture. It depicts an indoor environment with a woman lying in a hammock and a man watching her. On the left, a stretched woman in a hammock diagonally from left to right and from front to back; her head is to the left, is dark skinned and has no defined facial features. Her right arm is lying down and the left is resting on her belly. She wears a light colored dress and her legs are covered with a cloth that rests over the hammock. To the right of the center, a wall into which is fixed one of the ends of the hammock, dividing the environment. On the left, next to the wall, a man, standing, 3/4 facing the left, his right arm raised against the wall and left arm along the body. This figure seems to be watching the woman in the hammock. Background suggesting corner of the closed environment with walls in blue tone, a green floor can be seen and under the hammock a rectangular rug light colored with embedded geometric shapes.
