Description
Composition in black and white. Straigh, paralled, intersected and tangled lines. It depicts an indigenous village occupying almost the entire composition, within it, a hut and several indigenous armed with bows and arrows defending themselves from men outside that appear to be attacking them, can be seen. The village is delimited by a circular fence. Inside it, a trapezoidal hut with an entry is seen. The indigenous are only suggested and are at various positions, some are current others are kneeling, with bows and arrows aiming away from the village. Next to the hut, on the right, there is the suggestion of a group of prisoners. Out of the village, on the right, two poorly defined figures are suggested to be kneeling, armed with rifles aiming the village. At the bottom left of the composition, near the village fencing, six canoes side by side and to the right of the center, a dead man figure stretched on the floor. In the upper corners of the composition, dense vegetation suggestion, indicating that the village is located in aclearing of a forest.
