Description
Composition in light shades of ochre, earthy, green and gray. Thick texture and marked brushstrokes. It depicts two boys pounding rice field lanscape. In the foreground, the center, a sort of slightly rectangular table on the left diagonal to on the right, front to back. Behind the table, you see boy standing in front with his arms up and folded back, suggesting to be holding a long beam which see the tips above the boy's head. Across the table, a little to the right, back figure with arms up and bent back holding a long bundle of rice feet. The entire floor area is covered by suggestion grouped rice feet. In the background, to the left, some on the left diagonal to on the right, front to back, seeing himself behind it, a calf, a bull and a cow, side by side, which seem to observe the two working boys. Background with planting, looking to the left and the center a coffee plantation and on the right, corn planting and rice.
