Description
Composition in gray, white, rose, yellow and earthy. Thick texture and marked brushstrokes. Boy half-length holding a bird in hand, occupying almost the entire support area, against every background working with parallel and long strokes forming slightly sinuous lines. The boy faces, has his head bowed down, round face, short hair, facial features just suggested. Arms folded at breast height; in his on the right hand, which is open and cupped, holding a small dark bird profile to the left, the on the left hand is resting on the bird's head as if he were stroking. The boy wears gray short-sleeved shirt with collar closed.
