The pictured is 3/4 facing to the left. He has oval face, dark hair, broad forehead, bushy eyebrows. He wears wire-rimmed round glasses behind which are eyes that are clear and almond and facing forward. He has broad nose, fleshy, closed lips, square chin. H ae wears dark suit with pale shirt and dark tie with wide diagnonal stripes. Behind the bust portrayed, you see part of the high-backed chair, suggesting it is of dark leather with large nails as finishing and a semicircular shape at the top, and this part is cut ofupper margin edge of the bracket. Background in an area a little lighter than the rest of the composition.
