Description

Composition representing boy standing in front with slingshot in hand and plate on his head, taking up almost the entire area of the canvas. The boy has triangular face, very large and wide eyes, facing the front revealing an air of sadness; he has a big nose and narrow lips closed, wears blue short-sleeved shirt and baggy shorts with suspenders and is His right arm is along the body, holding in his hand a sling, and the left is folded and holding a circular tray which is supported on his head. His legs are apart and slightly bent, the left foot is in profile and the right is to the front. On to the right a bit further up there is the bottom part of what would be a crate. The ground where the boy steps is an orange and ochre background in two shades of pale ochre. Behind the boy's head there is a rectangular area in shade of blue.
