Title
The Sacrifice of Tiradentes
Description
Composition in black and white. Predominance of rapid strokes. Composition representing head and human body parts, forming a kind of mountain that would be on a scaffold. In the foreground, front head slightly turned to the left, eyes closed, unruly hair and neck serving as base. Behind the head, a kind of drape covering part of a human body quartered; to the left, you see the leg and foot, arm and hand; on the right, another foot and another hand. Behind this heap of parts of a human body, a sort of stake that would be the gallows hanging stake. Blood drops around the draping and the members of the human figure.
