Description

It depicts Don Quixote and Sancho Panza mounted on a wooden horse against background with sun and moon. The horse occupies almost all of the support area; it is in profile to the left, the joints are suggested by parallel lines and straight lines forming geometric figures. The legs are stretched forward and back and the head is raised. Don Quixote, wearing armor, faces forward, holding in his right hand a spear almost vertically. Sancho Panza is facing the back, with the head facing forward, wearing a hat, jacket and pants below the knees. Background is dotted in blue tone, and we seef beneath the animal's belly, a semi-circle in the sky to the left, the crescent moon and on the right, representation of the sun.
