Description
Composition in white tones, blue, gray, ochre and earthy, with little tonal variation. Thick, predominantly, and smooth texture. Two female figures in the act of washing and among them a boy in the eye presenting the effects usually found in patients with Chagas' disease. The three figures are depicted with significant deliberate deformation and occupy virtually the entire field of composition. The laundrywomen are standing in front of the bodies and - the bust down - the shrouded buckets in front of them. Both are curved with the head turned down and hair falling forward comma-shaped, covering them most of the face. In front of each a round basin, where it exits the workpiece being rubbed and supported by the belly, ending within the tub, a board scrubbing clothes. Hands vigorously increased the on the right of women are slightly apart from each other, holding a garment. The on the left hand holds something that suggests your brush. On the left woman hands also increased strongly, are together, fingers bent inward. The arms of both are thin and fibrous.
