Description
Composition in black and white. Winding and shaded contour lines defining contrasting volume in the background. Boy holding a ball, occupying the full area of support. The boy is sitting on a kind of bench, front, 3/4 torso and head in profile to the left. It has both hands resting on a ball that is on your on the right on top of where you are sitting. His head is oval shaped, prominent ago with a black shadow that surrounds. Representation little hair, broad forehead, straight nose and serious face. Wears long sleeve shirt, shorts and is barefoot. The laundry is indicated by thin strokes and effects of light and dark print which you move. The bank where the boy is sitting is an intense black, like a shadow behind the head, contrasting with the light background.
