Description
Composition in ochre, black and blue tones. Predominant straight lines and contour lines. Sitting boy, occupying almost the entire vertical area of support, against plain background. The boy is sitting in chair that suggests that straw, high back, front, arms crossed and bare feet flat on the bottom of the seat post. Has clear and short hair combed forward, large round eyes staring forward, freckles on her cheeks, small nose and mouth. Wears short-sleeved shirt with collar open at the neck, all dashed black and shorts. Straw idea of the seat and back of the chair is given by the same dotted shirt. Touches of blue bypassing part of the boy's figure give light shading effect.
