Description
Composition in tones earthy, ochre, black, lilac, white, rose and red. Smooth texture. John Cross occupying the entire area of the composition against dark background. The saint is standing, facing right 3/4. Has slightly oval face facing upwards, few hair, broad forehead, almond-shaped eyes turned to the right and upward, long nose, lips parted and beard suggestion. wears cassock in earthy tone with short white robe, closed at the neck and is barefoot. The saint has arms folded and folded hands, looking up the fingers outstretched and slightly apart, on the right foot forward and on the left profile. Dark background with a few strokes in red and mauve. Might falling from the right and over the composition illuminating the figure of the saint.
