Description
Composition in green tones, earthy, ochre and gray. Resulting rough texture of the support itself. It depicts miners working in a river. The figures are defined by the masses, there is no definition or of facial features or clothing. In the foreground, on the right, prospector standing in the water of a river, in profile to the left with upper body leaning forward. Holds in hand a panning; wears straw hat with a wide brim and has legs apart and that the on the left is more advanced than the on the right. On the left, shovel planted almost vertically in a dark mound. In the background, on the left, prospector in the water to the waist, front, her head tilted down. wears wide-brimmed hat that covers his face, secured with the panning on the left hand is pressed against his waist and on the right hand suggested.
