Prospectors
Description
Composition in green tones, earthy, ochre and gray. Resulting rough texture of the support itself. It depicts miners working in a river. The figures are defined by the masses, there is no definition or of facial features or clothing. In the foreground, on the right, prospector standing in the water of a river, in profile to the left with upper body leaning forward. Holds in hand a panning; wears straw hat with a wide brim and has legs apart and that the on the left is more advanced than the on the right. On the left, shovel planted almost vertically in a dark mound. In the background, on the left, prospector in the water to the waist, front, her head tilted down. wears wide-brimmed hat that covers his face, secured with the panning on the left hand is pressed against his waist and on the right hand suggested. On the third level, the on the right, one prospector in the same position that it is in the foreground.
