Indian Men with Basket
Description
Composition in black and brown. Lines defining contours and shading setting volumes. Composition representing drawing part to transport that was cut, looking up means two busts of indigenous, and carries a basket of fruit and dead birds on the head, occupying almost the entire support area against brown background. On the left, 3/4 Indian facing right, has prominent apples, smooth dark hair covering his forehead, pulled up and eyes wide apart, facing right; nose broad and flat, straight and thick lips closed and short rounded chin. Loads on the head a large basket that is cut by the side edges of the support. It is woven straw and decorated with geometric motifs forming three zigzag lines. In the basket are seen three dead birds being that one is well fallen out of the basket and various fruits indifinidas except for two who are cashews nuts up. On the right holder, a little deeper, another Indian head also 3/4 toward the on the right, and part of his on the left cheek is cut by side edge on the right holder. The figure has prominent apples, dark straight hair covering his forehead, eyes pulled up and wide apart, also facing right, wide and flat nose, thick, straight and closed lips and short rounded chin.
