Description
Composition in the earthy shades, gray, white, black and ochre. Rough and smooth texture. Old man half-bust occupying the entire area of support. The figure is three quarters turned to the left, wear wide-brimmed hat buried in the head, covering his forehead and has facial features well-marked: very large eyes, almond-shaped, nose too big, straight and open nostrils, thin mouth shaved at the sides, prominent chin and signs of little beard indicated by small black lines. Clothing represented in earthy tones with chiaroscuro effect, appearing to be a cloak or mantle, where the on the right shoulder is much higher than the on the left, forming a volume similar to a jamb. At the bottom, a clear geometric shape filled with black dots placed symmetrically across the width of the entire composition, and in a gray area as a vertical line to the upper edge behind the head of the old. Shadow effect in the eye and on the right at the neck of the figure.
