Description
Composition in black and brown. Contour lines and quickly dashed. Representation of a man wearing allegory of Bumba-meu-boi, and figure of Bahia to the bottom amid a street. In the foreground, black figure of a man, standing, facing left 3/4, thinning hair represented by small dots, broad forehead with bald statement indicated eyes, overly broad nose, thick lips open, bent on the left arm, hand holding the bridle of the horse. Wears allegory of Bumba-meu-boi, and the horse is in profile to the left, has the eye and indicated ears, mane represented by three curved lines. The horse's body is represented by plain cloth with little drapery, curved lines on the back; tail beam indicated by thin lines.
