Description
Composition in black and white. Contour lines and shading. Black head Study occupying almost the entire area support against white background. The figure is turned, 3/4 facing right, using wide-brimmed straw hat horizontal covering his face to the upper jaw height. Face they see is only part of the thick lips, closed, characteristic of the black race, and small chin. It is seen that part of the neck is wide and short line and the rear of the collar defining the apparel uses.
