Description
Composition in blue tones, black and white. Lines defining contours, winding and shaded areas. Color design for tile panel representing various stages St. Francis of Assisi's life. The composition follows the shape of the church facade is formed by four arches; two on the left, small; further to the center; and the size of the first two on the right. The entire background of the composition is divided by diagonal lines in forming squares suggest the checkerboard tile, and on every square one sees or bird or a fish. Even against the background, sinuous lines traverse the entire area of ​​the composition by defining the boundaries of colored areas that make up the background. The figures and the animals are distinguished by being well defined to marked contour lines. In the first arc, San Francisco, standing in profile to the right.
