Composition in ochre, rose, blue, gray, violet, lilac, earthy, white, red and black. Smooth texture and marked brushstrokes. Figures represented with significant and deliberated deformed expressions.. It depicts Veronica wiping the face of Jesus. In the foreground, Jesus and Veronica kneeling face to face. On the left, Jesus kneeling in profile to right with the cross over his left shoulder. He has long hair, fainting face, from where dripping drops of blood fall over his tunic, which is torn on the shoulder. On the right, Veronica kneeling with arms outstretched holding a white cloth and wearing a tunic in lilac tones. In the background, on the left, a soldier holding a spear and on the right, a figure covering the face with his hands. Geometrized background in light tones with house facade suggestion on top.
