Description
Composition in black tones, white, green, blue, purple, ochre-red, rose, red and gray. Contour lines, parallel dashed, quick strokes. It depicts withdrawal of Jesus from the Cross. In the center figure of a man standing in front, holding the body of Jesus. His head tilted to the left, indicated facial features and beard suggestion. Wears tunic long sleeves covering the knees and leaving the show legs apart and feet shod with strappy sandals. The body of Jesus is being carried by two more figures: the on the left, curved profile to the right, holds the legs and the on the right, on a kind of crate, safe part of the shroud by the head of Jesus. Both figures wear coats represented by dashed parallel strips shoes and sandals. Behind the central figures, we see part of the vertical beam of the cross and on the left outline of a figure climbing stairs. Basically, parallel lines converge towards the vertical beam of the cross, suggesting that a hill and at the top, on the right, circle representing the sun.
