Description
Composition in gray tones, white, ochre, blue, earthy, red, black, orange and green. Smooth texture. Scarecrow occupying the entire area of ​​the composition. The horizontal beam forming the scarecrow arms crosses the entire width of the composition by light diagonal on the left to the right and from bottom to top. In the center rod bent to the right, to which end it is seen head scarecrow inclined to the right. It has an oval shape and physiognomic schematic traces suggesting an African mask: divided over the medium being the brown on the left half and the on the right half in ochre, arched eyebrows painted blue, eyes represented in two ovals intersect, triangular nose and mouth split in half in two shades of red. The beam so that arms is partly covered by drape blank and juxtaposed in patches with ochre rectangle ochre and blue and black checkered areas. At the time of the drapery legs forks in flowing drapery. Rope pieces involve the beam on the left and on the right, falling into tips.
