Description
Composition in yellow tones (predominant), blue, orange, earthy, ochre, violet, green, black and white. Composition representing six women working in the various stages of the process of spinning, against background in shades of yellow, orange, violet, ochre and blue. From the right to on the left to see part of a spinning wheel (instrument twisting wire); a little farther back, the first spinner, standing in profile to the left. Has arrested blue hair and wears violet dress with green mantle. His on the left arm is slightly bent forward and hold it in your palm cotton blanket (kind of ball); more to the left, you see the second spinner, in profile to the left. Has her hair tied in a bun and wears blue dress. Her legs are apart and slightly bent; with safe on the right hand hamper full of cotton lint that will be transformed into blanket. His on the right arm is extended and his hand holds the back of a child sitting on the lap of a woman who is on the right in the center of the composition, standing, facing. She has her hair up and wear dress wine. The child is sitting on his on the left arm and wears green dress. More to the left, one sees the sixth spinner, standing in profile to the right with sloping down trunk. It has green skin, wear dressed in violet tone and has fallen arms. Her legs are apart and that the on the right is bent back and forth. All figures have indicated facial features, arms and legs stretched and is barefoot. The background is colored in geometrized regular areas.
