Gold Mine in Minas Gerais
Description
Composition in gray tones, ochre, blue, earthy, black, orange and yellow. Smooth texture with marked brushstrokes. It depicts mining, consisting of three figures compared geometrized background. In the foreground, in the lower on the right half of the composition, a man in profile to the left, bending over a panning holding with both hands. Has the on the left leg forward with the knee bent and feet hidden by the suggestion of water. Shirt dresses short-sleeved, with a rectangle lighter shade in the back and an orange stripe on the sleeve and pants rolled up to the height of the shins with orange accents on the legs represented by visible brush strokes. In the background, on the left, older man than the first, standing in front, with slightly fallen head to the right, looking at his on the right hand, shell-shaped, at chest and holding a panning by the body with the on the left arm. This figure has gray hair and beard and his body, from the waist down, is confused with the geometrics of the fund. There on your clothes the same type of details in orange which is in the clothing of the first man. On the right beside him, another man standing with his on the right hand on his head, looking toward the cupped hand of another miner.
