Description
Composition in black and white. Predominance of shaded and some lines. Profile Dante's head to the left occupying the center of the stand area. The pictured has long face, hair suggesting they are surrounded by a cloth, almost hidden forehead, nose long and aquiline, thin and closed lips and prominent chin. Suggested on the left eye, turned to the left. Face defined by areas of dense or less dense shade as the light that defines volume. Traces behind and in front of the neck defining the beginning of the bust of FIG.
