Composition in black and white. Contour lines and shading. Armed scarecrow in planting and hill in the background. In the foreground, on the left of center, armed scarecrow in two sticks crosswise. High oval overhanging head to the left on the horizontal beams that form the arms, drapery which descends by the vertical beam and the height of the forks legs light and dark areas. On the floor, suggesting that planting shaded area forming an angle whose vertex is the point where the beam is stuck scarecrow. In the background, on the right, shaded hill and cloud in the sky suggestion.
