Description
Composition in green tones, white, gray, earthy, ochre, black, orange and blue. Smooth, thick, grooved and marked brushstrokes. Group of three boys, standing, playing with spinning tops, occupying almost the entire stand area. On the left profile boy to the right, slightly rear-facing; wears cover suggesting being a burlap sack covering his head and falls to the middle of the legs and gray pants rolled up to the knees. Has arms folded, open on the right hand where you see a top and on the left holding the on the right forearm boy is in front in the center of the area of the composition. This wears straw hat brimmed up and gray clothes with pants rolled up to the knees. He faces has defined facial features, folded on the right arm with blue spinning top in the palm of his on the left hand and also folded across the chest and hand flat. To the right of the composition, the third boy is almost back, using newspaper hat and shoulders, dark gray adult jacket that covers her legs to the knees. The on the left arm has bent with open hand palm which is in an orange top. His on the right arm is not visible but sees his hand resting on the left shoulder of the boy at the center of the composition. The three children are barefoot and are squalid which is accented by a relative disproportion of the hands and feet. The three hands where the tops are close, there is some confusion fingers. White background with dividing line with the ground earthy, at the knees of children. In the central area of the composition on the figures and the background, geometrical areas in green and gray tones suggesting contrasts of light and shade.
