Description
Composition in blue and green tones (predominant), gray, rose, yellow, earthy, white, black, violet and red. Smooth texture, marked strokes. Representation of pioneers and indigenous in the woods across geometrized composition. From the left to the right: man standing in front with legs apart, wearing brimmed hat and high boots; tree trunk thick through almost the entire height of the support. Three men side by side and two back and one behind, from the front. The on the left seems to be shooting with the shotgun, the center holds the rifle with the on the left hand and the third front, holding the gun in his on the left hand, and is with the head turned to his two companions. The three wear brimmed hat. At the upper right corner, three indigenous in a row, in profile to the left, carrying on her head a canoe. Along the lower edge of the support, and knees bent figure front with his head and hands together at the front of the body. Background in dark tones setting thicket represented by geometrical areas and light areas suggesting light penetration.
