Description

Each medallion represents a It depicts and is finished off by a plain white border. From top to bottom we see: a) It depicts inside a church looking to the altar background of Our Lady of Aparecida with two lighted candles. In the foreground, back woman, kneeling, facing the altar. In the background, to the left, two boys profile to the right, also on his knees and on the right, another boy, kneeling, in profile to the left. Ground in earthy tone. B) It depicts inside a church, and the altar background Our Lady of Aparecida blue robe. In the foreground, on the left, black figure, kneeling slave, 3/4 rear-facing, wears white trousers rolled up to just below the knees. It has caught up arms, wrists, a cuff which overhangs part of a shattered current. On the right, white man figure suggesting that a foreman. wear white outfit with black boots high-tops.
