Jesus Dies on the Cross, Twelfth Station of the Via Crucis
Description
Composition in ochre, earthy, blue, rose, yellow, white and black. Smooth and rough texture, and some marked brushstrokes. Crucified Jesus Representation and three women crying against geometrized light background. In the center of the composition, cross vertically through almost the entire height of the stand, and stuck to it, Jesus. She's head tilted to the left and has indicated facial features; has the bare chest and piece of fabric around the hips, legs straight and parallel legs rest on ledge at the bottom of the larger arm of the cross. On the right woman in profile to the left, kneeling with folded hands, using long dress and barefoot. Behind her, more to the right, another woman, three quarters turned to the left, also kneeling with his head tilted down and face covered by hands. On the left woman 3/4 toward the on the right, kneeling, long hair and hands covering his face. wear long dress and is barefoot.
