Description
Composition in ochre, earthy, white, blue, black and green. Smooth texture. Three sitting black women and children occupying almost the entire area of the composition in arid lanscape. From the left to the right: 3/4 woman turned to the right with the head profile. Has short kinky hair, naked lap seeing a part of sagging breasts, on the right arm holding the on the right leg is bent. It wears white clothing and has at his side a crock outlined in black. To the right of center, front woman holding a baby in her arms. Woman is with the head tilted toward the child has hair divided in half and stuck in the neck. The baby is leaning back with his head to the left leg and on the right, naked. Further back, front woman with legs crossed, face tilted down and body outlined by black lines. Figures have the facial features just mentioned. On the left, on the bank, three tufts of vegetation, side by side, in perspective to the bottom on the right, near the bottom, a blue bag and winding thick rope resting on the floor. In the background, blue sky with the top edge clearing down and merging with the floor in ochre tones.
