Cangaceiros
Description
Composition in tones rose, ochre, red, blue, yellow, earthy and lilac. Smooth texture with strokes marked in the figures. Cangaceiros group imprisoning a man in treeless lanscape against blue sky. The group is on the right half of the composition and consists of nine cangaceiros the prisoner and all standing and forward. The prisoner is between two bandits that hold under the arms, and have straight black hair, startled expression on his face, wear light clothing and are barefoot. The bandits on the sides, wear clothes and typical hats, belt and holster cross on his chest and neck scarf. Both arms are not to hold the prisoner raised, carrying whips; legs apart, the bare on the right and on the left wearing espadrilles. Prisoner ago, another bandit, which only see the head. The remaining bandits are represented only by the hats that are juxtaposed, and another face without defining traits on the right. The group is set in a geometric area in several color shades, which goes to the skyline. Arid, composed of six clumps being a prominent in the lower on the left; a cactus on the right; six stakes in perspective to the bottom and to the left; scattered rocks and clear blue sky range.
