Description
Composition in gray, ochre, rose, violet, blue, earthy, green, black and white tones. Smooth, thick texture in some areas of the figure and marked brushstrokes. Self-portrait occupying almost the entire area of ​​the composition. The depicted's bust faces 3/4 to the left and his head is forward. The face on the left and the hair have dark outline, accentuating the forehead, brown hair with tuft to the right, straight eyebrows, right eye without representation of hte pupil and the left facing right with the pupil in gray-green tone. Long nose, shadowed lips and sharp dimple on his chin. He wears a jacket in rose and violet tones over shirt in rose and black bow tie. Light falling from the right, projecting shadow area to the left. Gray background on the left and earthy-gray tone on the right.
