Description
Composition in ochre, blue, gray, earthy, white, black and rose. Smooth, thick, marked, long, smooth strokes. Scarecrow representation, occupying almost the entire area of the composition, stuck in what was an already mowed crop against blue sky and moon on the left. The scarecrow is reinforced beam in a cross-shaped of slender rods. It is with fallen head to the right, have suggested dark hair, dark complexion and blue, bulging eyes, nose and lips closed suggested in rose tone. The body is defined by quadrangular cloths represented by small stains that composes a checkered fabric; has fallen and soft arms and legs with the ends turned up. The floor consists of broad brush strokes of thick paint in ochre tones, with details in gray and black suggesting already reaped crop. The sky is clear, stoned blue, cut with rectangular strips in gray tones, which are background to the head and on the right arm scarecrow, suggesting projection of shadows. At the upper left corner, circular area in light gray, suggesting the moon.
