Description

The boy is on the right of the composition, sitting on the floor and leaning against the tree trunk. He has short, curly hair, round eyes, delicate nose, small closed lips and short neck. He wears a clear shirt with sleeves down to the elbows, dark pants rolled up and is barefoot. His legs spread wide, and among them we see a handheld trap. The floor is completed by dotting representing grass or bushes, where we see some flowers, two shrubs and a stump where a bird rests. Further down on the right, part of the trunk of a tree and in the background, behind a fence, a railway with a Maria Fumaça train.
