Description
Composition in black and white. Contour lines, poorly defined and shaded figures obtained by dry brush. Scouts It depicts in the forest, occupying the entire area of support. In the foreground, on the left, doe standing, facing right, with the shading body. To the right, two men standing side by side, the first of his back, brimmed hat and the on the right, from the front, with his on the left hand over his eyes, as if looking at a distance and shotgun in his on the right hand. Both have thick legs. On the ground, vegetation suggestion. In the background, river crossing the width of the composition, looking to the left, a man lying face down, vertically, as if on his hands and drinking from the river in front. In the third level, on the left of center, bent man in profile to the left, with arms outstretched catching trunk cut down; slightly behind and to the left, standing figure, outlined; thick trunks cross the composition to the upper limit, seeing in the center, an anteater.
