Description
Composition in black and white. Might contour lines and shading obtained by dry brush. Group formed by two Jesuits surrounded by indigenous, occupying the entire area of support. In the center of the composition, Jesuit sitting in profile to the left, with the head turned back, wearing tunic and long barefoot. Immediately behind, naked Indian standing in profile to the left, with the head turned forward, long hair and legs supporting the open on the left hand on Jesuit shoulder sitting in front. At the bottom on the left, naked child sitting on the floor. On the right, India, two more figures of indigenous, all naked, with feather thong suggestion. On the right foot Jesuit carrying in her arms a naked baby in front. In the background, to the left, behind a fence corner, little church of representation.
