Description

Composition of earthy, gray, ochre, blue, green, black and white. Rough texture. It depicts six rabbis studying indoors with three rectangular tables, which are prospective for the background and two men standing. Men who are seated wear "skullcap" and wear hats standing tabs. In the foreground, three front rabbis, sitting in front of a table where there is an open book in the center. The rabbis have represented facial features, beard, mustache and wear mostly dark; from the left to the right: the first man is the head slightly raised, turned to the right, with the on the right hand on his beard and on the left the on the left side; the center is head down, on the right hand on the forehead and on the left flattened forward; the on the left is with the head turned to the left, on the left hand on the left side of the head and on the right hand supporting the face. Two more rabbis sitting in seat, back, facing a table, staring at each other. Sitting in front of them on the other side of the table, man leaning on a book that is open. The three wear "kippah", the first two wear dark clothes and the background, blue clothing. On the right man standing in front of the on the left hand on the height of the trunk and on the right holding his chin. Has represented facial features and wearing a hat and dark overcoat. In the background, on the left, man standing, facing left, next to the penultimate table. The last table is empty.
