Since 2010, the Portinari Project has taken on the role of Ponto de Cultura Portinari (Portinari Culture Point), beginning a new phase with the realization of an updated version of the 'Brazil by Portinari' exhibition. This initiative involved touring municipalities in the state of Rio de Janeiro, in partnership with the Living Culture Program and the Ministry of Culture.
With an emphasis on building an organic network of cultural management, mobilization and creation, the itinerant exhibition 'Brazil by Portinari' proposed the presentation of a series of reproductions of Candido Portinari's works. In addition, art education workshops were held for educators, children, and young people representing public schools and communities.
